About Mobi-guides
Who We Are
Mobi-guides are innovative new video guides that are designed to be viewed on mobile video devices: mobile phones, portable video players (video iPod’s, Sony PSP’s….), PDA’s, and even PCs. They can be viewed anywhere, but work best if you’re actually at the location, or doing the activity being described.
The first series of guides have been produced by mobi-guides parent company, Ballista Media Ltd, and are visitor guides to famous London locations. Future guides will be produced both by Ballista Media Ltd, and partner content creators, and will include areas beyond the visitor/tourist guide market.
Started in 2006 by Tom Clifford and Dan Snow, and fully owned by Ballista Media Ltd, mobi-guides aim to fill the huge gap between the potential for video on mobile devices, and the content currently on offer. We are creating new content specifically for mobile devices, and delivering video that’s designed to be watched when you’re on the move.
